Doug Harder of Idaho returned from his vacation to an unexpected scene: bears had taken over his condo for a party.
Leaving his sliding door slightly ajar, a few bears managed to slip in, devouring his food and leaving behind a mess on the carpet.

Remarkably, they caused minimal damage, opting instead to indulge in cans of Pepsi and devouring his Toblerone stash. It was a scene reminiscent of naughty children having a weekend bash while their parents were away.
Returning a few days later, one bear even poked its head through the cat’s door, capturing the moment in a photograph.
Despite their intrusion, the bears seemed more of a nuisance than a threat, with their antics bordering on adorable.
While interacting with black bears can be perilous, these creatures typically steer clear of humans, preferring to scavenge for food. Loud noises and assertive postures usually prompt them to retreat as they aim to avoid confrontation.
The bears’ timing was impeccable, waiting for Doug’s absence to ransack his fridge. Remarkably, they even spared his cat, suggesting their visit was more about a brief getaway than causing harm.
