At the Asa Zoo in Japan, there’s a bear that’s captured everyone’s attention with his impressive skills. Affectionately dubbed ‘the Kung Fu Bear,’ this furry resident has mastered twirling a staff around like a pro.

Named Claude upon his rescue five years ago, this bear’s prowess is a far cry from his namesake, Jean-Claude Van Damme.

In a fascinating display of agility and coordination, Claude effortlessly manipulates a 5-foot-long staff with his paws, spinning it around his head and shoulders with finesse. He even tosses it into the air and catches it, much to the amazement of onlookers.

Initially, zookeepers noticed Claude’s knack for handling sticks and encouraged his talent by providing him with longer sticks to play with. Over the years, his practice has paid off, turning him into a true master of his craft.

While animals using tools isn’t unheard of, Claude’s proficiency with the staff is a remarkable example of animal object control.

Experts from the University of Colorado praise his abilities, likening him to a prodigy in the animal kingdom.

With his remarkable skills, Claude has earned comparisons to action heroes like Chuck Norris and even found himself in jestful speculation about a role in Kung Fu Panda. But one thing’s sure: Claude’s talents are no laughing matter.
