While walking through a park, a man came across a heartbreaking sight—a small, motionless dog with dull, lifeless eyes.

The park caretaker confirmed that no one had come for the dog and urged the man to take it before it was too late.
Unable to walk away, the man decided to help. Leaving his contact information with the caretaker in case an owner appeared, he tried offering the dog food and water, but it was too weak and afraid to eat.
That night, he took the dog home, determined to get it medical attention the next day.
At the hospital, the veterinarian delivered devastating news. The dog, later named Kang Kang, was in critical condition.
One eye was completely blind, and a deep infection had caused parts of its face to rot. The treatment would be costly, with no guarantee of success.
The doctor gently suggested giving up. But the man refused. He begged for surgery, believing Kang Kang deserved a fighting chance.
The operation was complicated, requiring the removal of rotting tissue and intensive post-surgical care. Daily treatments were necessary to prevent infection.
Despite the pain, Kang Kang never cried or resisted, as if understanding the effort to save its life. Gradually, its appetite returned, and small signs of recovery began to show.
A week later, Kang Kang was strong enough to leave the hospital. The man, now fully committed to the dog’s recovery, carefully followed the vet’s instructions—cleaning wounds, changing bandages, and providing endless care.
