Carmi began her life under tragic circumstances, abandoned at a dumpsite among toxic waste. She bore the marks of her harsh surroundings, with burns and bruises covering her frail body.
Left alone and pregnant, Carmi scavenged the area for food and attempted to find rest amid the debris, clinging to life for the sake of her unborn puppies.

Carmi’s recovery has been nothing short of inspirational. With proper medical treatment, nutritious food, and constant affection, she is gaining weight, her fur is growing back, and she is blossoming into the beautiful dog she was always meant to be.
