A series of heartwarming photos show a mischievous polar bear cub creating chaos while its exhausted mother tries to cope, evoking sympathy from mothers everywhere.
The pictures, taken by amateur photographer Yuan Su at Fletcher Lake in Wapusk Park, Churchill, Canada, capture the cub’s playful antics and its mother’s struggle.

The six-week-old cub eagerly follows its mom out of their cave and through the snow, constantly seeking attention.
In one particularly endearing shot, the mother bear, overwhelmed by her energetic offspring, covers her ears with her paws, closes her eyes, and buries her face in the snow desperately for peace.

The undeterred cub clambers over her pokes her with its paw, and hides underneath her, trying to engage her in play.
Yuan Su, a 66-year-old from Carmel, Indiana, recounted his experience capturing these moments. “We watched them very closely every day,” he said. “On the fourth day, we started taking pictures as soon as we found the bears outside their cave.”
The cub followed its mother everywhere, playing and hiding behind her. Despite the mother’s exhaustion, she kept a vigilant eye on her cub. “I loved watching this baby very much – it is adorable,” Su added.

These captivating images beautifully illustrate the universal challenges of motherhood, even in the animal kingdom.
