It was early morning when the heartbreaking scene unfolded. A mother dog, later named Muhammad, lay motionless on the wet roadside. Insects crawled over her tail, and her body burned with fever. Nearby, her puppies clung to her, weak and vulnerable, unable to understand the danger they were in.
Muhammad was barely able to move, yet she still tried to nurse her babies. Exhausted and frightened, she watched anxiously as her rescuer began lifting the puppies into a car.
Her fear was clear—she was terrified of being separated from them. But when she, too, was gently placed inside, her body relaxed. She knew she wasn’t being abandoned again.

After a much-needed bath and food, the entire little family was taken to the vet. The puppies, thankfully, were in stable condition and were later brought back home. But Muhammad needed urgent treatment—her body was severely dehydrated, and her condition was worsening. She often fainted from exhaustion.

With care and dedication, her rescuer worked tirelessly to help Muhammad recover, tending to both her and her puppies with love. Slowly, her strength returned. She smiled in her sleep, and her grateful eyes told a story of quiet trust.
The puppies, around two months old, were soon fully vaccinated and healthy. They cooperated during checkups and charmed everyone they met. One by one, they were adopted into loving homes—each finding a peaceful life they had never known before.

The day the puppies left with a kind woman named Virginie, they clung to her gently, offering affection as if to say thank you. From that moment on, Muhammad and her babies were no longer survivors—they were family, cherished and safe. After the storm they endured, calm and happiness had finally arrived.
