Jim and Susan, a dedicated couple, run the center single-handedly, caring for the animals with no outside help.

Their love for the bears is evident, treating them like their children. The sanctuary aims to rehabilitate and eventually release these misunderstood animals into the wild.

Bears on Ice

During a recent cold snap, Rosie and Randy were seen exploring their icy enclosure. Their movements on the ice were reminiscent of a well-rehearsed ice dance, with Rosie appearing to moonwalk across the frozen surface.

Randy seemed eager for a playful wrestling match, but Rosie had other plans. She playfully slapped Randy, causing him to sit quietly on the ice, appearing slightly stunned by his sister’s unexpected action.

Playful Moments

Not wanting to leave her brother in distress, Rosie soon approached Randy with a gentle nudge. This prompted Randy to start dragging himself across the icy ground, a sight that resembled children playing joyfully in the snow.

Remarkably, the ice held firm under the combined weight of the two bears, adding to the enchantment of their playful antics.
