When they reviewed the surveillance footage, they found that the uninvited guest was a bear who has since become a regular at the pool.

Instead of chasing away the bear, the resort staff embraced their new furry friend, giving him the nickname “Swimmy.”
They watched delightfully as Swimmy snuck under the chained “Closed” sign, taking a dip in the quiet pool. Night after night, the bear swims leisurely, resembling a giant teddy bear enjoying his private oasis.

Swimmy’s antics have become a source of entertainment for the staff, who eagerly watch his playful paddling around the pool.
Since the pool is otherwise unused during the offseason, the resort sees no harm in allowing Swimmy his nightly swims.

However, the resort will officially close the pool once winter’s chill truly sets in and Swimmy goes into hibernation.
For now, Swimmy continues to brighten the nights at the mountain resort with his adorable aquatic visits.
