Nirvana ate the offered food but continued to rest in the vacant lot. After two days, Suzette Hall arrived to rescue the exhausted dog. Despite her weariness, Nirvana greeted her rescuer with a hopeful wag and bright eyes, revealing the deep connection dogs can have with humans, even amidst abandonment.

Hall then managed to gently secure a leash on the grateful Nirvana, who was so tired that she barely reacted, understanding she was finally being rescued.
Hall took Nirvana to the veterinarian for much-needed care. During her visit, Nirvana was given a bath, symbolically washing away the sadness of her past. The veterinary team recognized her sweet disposition and resilient spirit, providing her with a comfortable kennel to begin her healing journey.
Soon after, Nirvana found a loving foster home where she could forget her sad past. Surrounded by affection and introduced to new adventures, the affectionate Pittie embraced her new life filled with joy and wagging tails.
