When rescuers from RRSA India found him, Jimmy barely looked like a dog.

Once a proud Great Dane, he now resembled little more than a pile of bones, too weak to stand and too exhausted to respond.

His body was covered in open wounds, and he suffered from a severe ear infection and skin bacteria that had gone untreated for far too long.

But it was his eyes that told the full story—filled with pain, defeat, and fear.

Jimmy had a dangerously high fever, and blood tests revealed a serious infection brought on by extreme neglect.

He was only 17 months old, but the toll on his body and mind was devastating.

The RRSA India team quickly began treatment. Jimmy was placed under close medical supervision, receiving antibiotics, fluids, and the nutrition he had long been denied.

At first, the progress was slow. But with each passing day, his fever subsided, and he began eating again—a sign that his body was beginning to fight back.

Jimmy’s recovery wasn’t just physical. With the patient care of his rescuers, his spirit began to heal, too. Slowly, the once-defeated dog showed signs of trust and resilience.

His journey is a reminder that even the most broken animals can recover when someone chooses to care.

Thanks to RRSA India, Jimmy has a second chance—and this time, he won’t face life alone.
