A distress call about an injured dog led to a touching rescue operation in the city of Anand. The mother dog, later named Anya, was discovered living in an industrial zone with her puppies.
Sadly, Anya had suffered severe injuries, including a protruding eye from a vehicular accident, and was battling a skin infection. Rescuers from RRSA India quickly intervened, relocating Anya’s puppies to safety before carefully rescuing her.
Anya was visibly shaken when she arrived at the RRSA Animal Shelter. Understandably anxious and unsure, she showed little interest in food, longing instead for the company of her puppies.

Her condition was indeed troubling as she bore both physical and emotional scars from her ordeal.
However, the staff at the shelter worked diligently to ensure Anya was comfortable and reunited her with her puppies, bringing her some much-needed comfort.
Her physical state began to improve as she started eating properly, marking the onset of her recovery journey.

Medical attention was promptly provided; she received intravenous fluids to stabilize her initially, and soon after, Anya underwent a successful surgery to remove the damaged eye.
With each passing day, Anya grew stronger. Her indomitable spirit was heartening, showing remarkable resilience through her path to recovery.
The presence of her puppies seemed to uplift her, and she began to show signs of healing both physically and emotionally. Her progress, however gradual, gave hope to those at the shelter who were keenly observing her transformation.

Anya’s inspiring journey from a vulnerable state in the industrial area to finding safety and healing at the shelter highlights not just her strength, but also the dedication of the rescuers who never gave up on her.
This transition marks the start of a promising new chapter in Anya’s life, one filled with hope and recovery.
