An elderly pug endured the harsh weather after being abandoned for two days, his fragile body shivering as we wrapped him in a warm blanket. He was missing several teeth, and traces of dirt lingered on his tongue, evidence of his struggle to survive.
Once at the rescue station, we gently dried the pug off, and the vet started his examination. Although it was warm, the little dog was still trembling with cold, his condition critical from going days without food.
The veterinarian swiftly cleaned and treated his wounds, noting severe dehydration and organ failure. We were determined to help him, so we administered nutrient injections to stabilize his condition.

Touched by his plight, I took it upon myself to raise funds for his treatment, ensuring he received the tender care he deserved in his final days.
As the intravenous fluids dripped nourishment into his weakened body, I reflected on the deep bond shared between humans and animals.
Caring for pets mirrors our own capacity for empathy and kindness. I expressed a heartfelt wish that all animals could be treated with the same love and respect we show to our own family members.
Despite it all, this old pug remained steadfast, his eyes reflecting a lifetime of resilience and companionship. We hoped our efforts would provide him with comfort and dignity in his twilight days, a small gesture of thanks for the loyalty he had shown, even while facing adversity.
